Jeffrey Williams
is a poet who has done a terrific job with crafting poems
that reflect the special meaning of love that I try to capture
in my novels. He's written several poems especially for
my novels. His book "When The Heart Speaks" is
a touching book about poetry of love. I recommend it highly.

“Crossing”
The poem dedicated to novel,
“Crossing Paths, Tempting Memories”
No distance is too
far nor moment too short
when my thoughts are of you.
Awaking from
a restful sleep wrapped in
your blanket of love, reaching out
my hand, knowing I have traveled through
time because you really are lying by my side.
A mile is but a second
when I dream of our next
embrace of endless beauty;
boundless ecstasy of human emotion,
trembling as the first lake swim after
a long winter thaw.
Glimpsing your
smile or hearing the sweet
melody of your hello erases all
meaning of time. Your radiant love
adds new dimensions to my life and builds
...a staircase to my heart only you shall climb.

was the winner in my last poetry contest. I really enjoy
how she softly adds intense meaning to her work. I liked
it so much that I partnered with this wonderful poet to
write a poem inspired by my novel "Taken by You."

I felt, I needed, I desired...
The wonder of your presence
enveloped my essence,
You filled my thoughts with every breath I take,
My soul restored with hope and joy.
Never thought my heart could be
taken so powerfully,
yet dreams finally became reality
when you gave yourself unconditionally.
Taken by you, I feel so alive now
My heart rejoices, with you by my side
I believe, I trust, I love...
